Greenwich residents Sean and Chris Murphy owners of Murphy Brothers Contracting were recognized by the AIA Westchester Hudson Valley as their 2015 Professional Affiliate Award winner. This award was presented at the Chapter’s annual year-end celebration held at The Capitol Theatre/Garcia’s in Port Chester, N.Y.
According to the AIAWHV Chapter, the award recognizes exemplary leadership beyond their own professional efforts and accomplishments. Current chapter president, Peter Gaito, Jr. said, “Murphy Brothers leadership, insight and efforts provided represents all that is intended by this award.” Past chapter president John Fry added that “Murphy Brothers has partnered with a highly selective group of leading manufacturers and professional associations including AIA Westchester + Hudson Valley to advance sustainable practices and methodologies.
