The Greenwich World Hunger Association celebrated its donors and friends at its annual project update at the Tomes-Higgins House on Nov. 20.
Two project representatives Sherman Malone and Anne Bates presented overviews of their projects in Haiti and Nigeria. In addition, guests learned about the ongoing projects in Guatemala, India, Peru, the Philippines and a reservation in South Dakota. Newly Elected Selectman John F. Toner read the proclamation on behalf of First Selectman Peter Tesei declaring November 20, 2015 as Greenwich World Hunger Association Day.
