Michael “Squirrel” Dest died Nov. 24 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 52. He was the son of John and the late Linda Dest. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kristi; his father, John; and his siblings, John Dest and Patty Gambino. He was also the devoted uncle of Stephen and Christopher Dest, Jessica Gambino, and Emma and Evan LaBott.
