Everyone is very excited at thew Milbrook Club, and that’s because Republican Peter Tesei has just been elected to his fifth term as First Selectman.

“The people of Greenwich have spoken, and I really like what they had to say,” said Tesei.

As he should- Tesei defeated democrat Frank Farricker and Independent Candidate James C. Reilly with more than 74 percent of the votes.

“We are here to serve the folks. We are public servants. I am humbled to continue to serve as your Chief Elected Official,” said Tesei.

Republican John Toner will also keep his seat as Selectman. Toner replaced the late David Theis last December when the beloved Selectman unexpectedly passed away.

“Dave had every intention of running for re-election with me this fall. I know while he’s not with us in person, he’s with us in spirit,’ said Tesei.

And now to the Board of Education race that was decided by less than one percent of the votes. New comer Lauren Rabin replaced Peter von Braun in her first election.

“I am completely happy and completely amazed the fact that I got the most votes. I really had the blinders on and I just focused on working hard,” said Rabin.

Barbara O’Neil won the second republican seat on the Board of Education.
