The Greenwich Recycling Advisory Board and Greenwich Green & Clean Shred offer a paper-shredding day on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Island Beach Parking lot.

From old financial statements, medical records and documents that contain sensitive information, all can be recycled safely. Co-sponsored by The First Bank of Greenwich and Santaguida Sanitation, the event supports the local food bank.

Visitors may bring two cans of tuna or fruit per box, or $2/box, with an eight box maximum per car. Shredding will be done on-site and all shreds will be properly recycled.

Visitors are asked to remove all plastic, cardboard, metal.

U.S. Marines will be on site to accept new unwrapped toy donations for the 2015 Toys for Tots holiday collection.

For further information, email GreenwichRecycles@gmail.com or call 203-629-2876.
