On Oct. 14, Impact Fairfield County held its Fall Meeting to kick-off its inaugural grant year at the Innis Arden Golf Club. More than 75 women attended the event to hear from speakers Wendy Steele, original founder of the Impact model, and Juanita James, CEO of Fairfield County’s Community Foundation. Both speakers discussed the need for this new women’s collective giving circle and the transformational change that Impact Fairfield County will have on the community. Another goal for the evening was for attendees to sign up as members.

Impact Fairfield County is a collective giving circle for women of Fairfield County. Members make contributions that are pooled to provide transformational grants of $100,000 to local non-profits. These grants will be chosen by a vote of the membership after a rigorous grants review process by volunteer committee members. Founded by Wendy Block and Vicki Craver, Impact Fairfield County will help to support deserving but lesser known organizations throughout Fairfield County.

Impact Fairfield County is a 501(c)(3) public charity. Membership contributions are due by December 1st. 100% of membership contributions go directly toward grants distributed in the spring. To learn more and sign up as a member of Impact Fairfield County, visit impactffc.org
