Obituary: Elaine Lovallo

Elaine B. Lovallo, a lifelong resident of Greenwich, died on Sept. 23. She was 70 years old.

Elaine was born Oct. 29, 1944 to Frank and Mary Infante. She worked as an administrative assistant for Greenwich Medical Group and most recently as an office manager at ONS.

Elaine was an avid golfer who enjoyed playing locally and on her yearly trips to Florida. She also looked forward to weekend get-aways with her grandchildren and monthly poker games with her girls. Elaine was most happy hosting gatherings and being surrounded by her family and friends. Elaine also dedicated her time singing in town with the Holly Hill Tones.

She was the beloved wife of Daniel Lovallo. In addition, she leaves behind her cherished children, Tony Lovallo (Karen) and Lori Lovallo (Paul Roy), loving grandchildren, Paul (Margaret Moscati), Daniel, Timothy, Elizabeth and Maryn.

She was predeceased by her brother, Frank Infante.

Family and friends honored her life at a memorial gathering on Sept. 28 at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home in Greenwich. A memorial Mass followed on Sept. 29 at St. Roch’s Church. Committal was private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lustgarten Foundation, lustgarten.org.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to all the family and friends that became “Team Elaine” and stayed present throughout this journey, and to Dr. Barry Boyd and the staff at the Bendheim Cancer Center for all of their care and support.
