As part of its 350th anniversary year celebration, The First Congregational Church of Greenwich presents The Rev. Dr. Brenda J. Stiers Memorial Speaker Series. The next in this series is “Can We Get Along?” – A Christian/Muslim Dialog featuring Hartford Seminary Scholars, Dr. Heidi Hadsell, President and Professor of Social Ethics, and Dr. Feryal Salem, Professor of Islamic Scriptures and Law. The presentation is Saturday, Oct. 3 at 5 p.m. in the church Meetinghouse. A wine and cheese reception will follow.
The series focuses on various ways in which faith and religion interact with other aspects of human society and endeavor.
