Jonathan-Bardzik-BookFall has just begun but that doesn’t mean making a trip to the nursery should end. Tomorrow, Thursday, at 7 p.m., Jonathan Bardzik — cook, storyteller, author — will be hosting a cooking demonstration at McArdle’s Florist and Garden Center, 48 Arch Street.

As part of his book tour for his second cookbook Seasons to Taste, Jonathan will be sharing recipes featuring the best flavors of local fall farm harvest.  Jonathan is known for his weekly cooking demonstrations at the historic Eastern Market in Washington, D.C. where he has captivated audiences for the past four years.  Jonathan’s focus is on pairing stories and education about the farm-fresh vegetables available each season with delicious recipes that are easy for the most novice of home cooks to make for friends and families.

In addition to his demonstration, Jonathan will be promoting his second cookbook Seasons to Taste, a four season, 320 page book with more than 120 recipes. Each recipe is paired with tips and stories that provide a full picture to the development of each delicious dish.

There is a fee of $25 for the demonstration and tasting. Participants will also receive 25% off everything needed to plant an edible fall garden. Visit Mcardles.com/blog/seasons-to-taste-september-24
