Little Pub and Adopt-a-Dog teamed up for some good eats for a good cause on Tuesday.

“We are donating ten perent of proceeds today to Adopt-A-Dog,” said Little Pub general manager Bill Taylor.

“This is going to help us take care of all the dogs at the shelter, their medical care, their day to day care. It’s an amazing thing,” said Adopt-A-Dog Executive Director Kristen Rice.

The fundraiser with new menu items such as “adopt a haute dog” is a kickoff event for the non-profit’s 28th annual Puttin’ on the Dog.

“We have four fun dog competitions, there’s demos by the Greenwich police dogs and Port Chester obedience. There’s vendors with dog related items,” said Rice.

There will also be 15 adoptable dogs at the event, along with one very famous four legged friend.

“Sandy from the ‘Annie’ movie that just came out last year will be there,” said Rice.

Puttin’ on the Dog is Sunday from 10:00- 4:30 at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park. For more information, visit www.adopt-a-dog.org.
