The fall sports season is kicking off throughout the town of Greenwich, as Greenwich High School, Brunswick School, Greenwich Academy and Convent of the Sacred Heart are battling some of the best competition around.
Here is a list of varsity events going on for Saturday. As always, check with your athletic department for any changes to dates and times (home games are in bold):
GREENWICH HIGH SCHOOL
Boys Water Polo: vs. Battle of the Beltway (at U.S. Naval Academy), 9 a.m.
Field Hockey: at Fairfield Ludlowe High School, 3:30 p.m.
Girls Soccer: at St. Joseph High School, 4 p.m.
BRUNSWICK SCHOOL
Football: at Iona Prep, 1:30 p.m.
Cross-Country: vs. Kent School, Avon Old Farms, Hotchkiss School, 2:30 p.m.
