Players hit the links at the Griffith E. Harris Golf Course today for the Chamber of Commerce’s sixth annual golf outing.
“We’ve got a full house. We’ve got 23 foursomes. Our sponsor is United Bank from Westport. Everybody is going to have a great time,” said Executive Director Marcia O’Kane.
This is one of the Chamber’s yearly fundraisers and organizers say it helps bring awareness to the Town owned Griff.
“It’s just amazing and welcomes everyone. You do not have to live in Greenwich. They want to encourage the sport of golf,” said O’Kane.
The day will conclude with raffle drawings and a dinner to support the Chamber of Commerce.
