It’s a hot one today, but you can cool off with some lemonade and help support childhood cancer research at the same time.

“The kids are selling lemonade for Alex’s Lemonade Stand,” said a Cos Cob student.

The Cos Cob School teamed up with Green & Tonic to sell the lemonade at Mill Pond Park on Monday afternoon.

“We are all here together supporting Alex’s Lemonade Stand, and especially our friend Brady Zeller,” said Kai Pandolfino, owner of Green & Tonic.

Brady is a third grader at Cos Cob school who is currently undergoing chemotherapy treatment for cancer.

“It makes me feel good. And it makes the hospital better,” said Brady.

The lemonade stand goes until about 2:00 today. You can get more information or donate at www.alexslemonade.org.
