The Sound Training Group to offer Public Training

The Sound Training Group, a local training firm in Stamford, has announced that it will soon be offering public training in the management of aggressive behavior (MOAB).

The founding partners of the group, Dan Sinisi and Alan Shaw, recently attended a three day instructor training program offered by MOAB Training International, where they were presented with principles, techniques and skills for recognizing, reducing and managing violent or aggressive behavior. The MOAB training aims to provide compassionate methods for dealing with aggressive people both in and out of the workplace.

MOAB Training International is a leader in training and consulting organizations across the United States and Canada, specializing in programs that manage aggressive behavior. The institute teaches the proper utilization of various de-escalation techniques, which will enable people to control the aggressor without bringing harm to themselves. The highly researched, state of the art programs have served over 5,000 agencies since 1983, including corporations, law enforcement organizations, private security, academic institutes, the military and federal agencies.

Sinisi and Shaw founded Sound Training Group in 2013 to provide diverse education and training to professionals in the areas of public safety, healthcare and other corporate environments. MOAB programs are usually brought in by individual corporations and taught in-house, but this year Sound Training was able to reach an agreement with MOAB International that will allow them to provide the programs publicly throughout the state.
