Saturday, June 13 marks the 11th annual Connecticut Open House Day and
the Greenwich Historical Society is celebrating with having free admission
and programs for all visitors that day.

“There will be a collage workshop lead by professional artist Carol Dickson.
We will also have letter boxing which is like a scavenger hunt. We will have
a tag sale from a gift shop, so there will be a lot going on,” said Anna
Greco of the Historical Society.

The Connecticut Office of Tourism says Open House Day is a great way to
experience many of the art, history and tourism sites the state has to offer.

“It really creates a sense of community among cultural institutions of
Connecticut. We get to be part of the larger community,” says Greco.

The Bush-Holley House site is located at 39 Strickland Road and the open
house is from 12:00 – 4:00.
