The Junior League held their annual Touch A Truck Fundraiser today in the Greenwich
Town Hall Parking lot. The event had music, food and more trucks than imaginable.
Junior League President, Alessandra Messineo Lang explained that there are attractions
for everyone.

“It’s an opportunity for the entire community to come out and participate. To jump on
some bouncy castles and have a field day in our lower field. There are a lot of games
and trucks and food trucks and the Bossy Frog Band. The main attraction are our trucks
from all different kinds of vendors and businesses throughout the community that donate
their time so the children can climb on them and beep the horns. The Police are here,
the EMS are here, we have tons of construction trucks, we have Ferraris from Miller
Motor Cars, all different kinds of things,” Alessandra Messineo Lang said.

Greenwich Resident Melissa Wirth brought her family to the event today.

“We’ve got three children and two boys who absolutely love anything loud and love the
trucks. Zach here loves to play soccer and jump in the jump castles. It’s a fun day for
the guys, it’s so nice,” said Melissa Wirth.

Touch a truck is one of two fundraisers the Junior League holds annually.
