The schedule of events at the Greenwich Audubon has something for
everyone this summer. Jeff Cordulack the Events and Communication
Manager at the Audubon highlights some things to look forward to.

“This summer at Audubon Greenwich we have some of our favorites and
some new ones as well. The very first one coming up is our Second
Sunday Hike at 9:30 in the morning we do a hike around the Greenwich
Audubon trails and sometimes other places. People can come out then,
it’s a Father’s Day Hike and I’ll be leading that. We also have a
really neat program on June 20 about our native pollinators, it’s
called Pollinator Safari,” said Jeff Cordulack

The Audubon has hundreds of acres of trails but not all programs take
place during the day

“A popular series of programs will be night programs with our new educator,
Susan. They’ll be mid-July and mid-August. We’ll go out and watch the stars
and have camp fires and do night hikes to look for things,” said Cordulack.

To guarantee a spot with these programs, register online or call ahead before hand

“A really great event that’s sure to fill up, so register, is our Fireflies
Program. Where people come out in the evening and learn about the many
different types of fireflies in their own yards,” said Cordulack.

Audubon events continue through the fall with the Hawk Festival in October.
